More Than $1K Stolen From Washing Machines In Westmont

WESTMONT, IL — Police in Westmont are looking for a suspect or suspects who stole more than $1,000 in cash from washing machines at a laundromat. The theft took place on July 10 in the 100 block of S. Suffield Pl., according to police.

Sometime between 12 a.m. and 1 a.m., police say someone entered the laundromat and damaged multiple machines to get access to the cash inside. The total loss was estimated at $1,100.
