Munch Madness 2012: Hobson Road/North of 75th St. Region

Vote for your favorite restaurant to go to our four-town competition.

The March Madness bracket has been revealed. That means it's time for Munch Madness!

Last year, we pitted 32 Woodridge restaurants in a March-Madness-style bracket to determine our readers' favorite.  was determined our 2011 winner.

For 2012, we're upping the ante. Darien, Downers Grove, Lemont and Woodridge restaurants will compete against one another for the title of 2012 Munch Madness champion. Each town will determine 16 restaurants to move to the multi-town Munch Madness competition.

We need your help to determine your 16 favorite Woodridge restaurants. Each day, we'll post eight restaurants determined by geography. Your votes will narrow them down to four. We'll post Woodridge's 16 finalists on Friday.

Whoever gets the most votes on TwitterFacebook and the site wins. You have until 11:59 p.m. Friday to vote for a restaurant.

 Big Suchir's lunch and dinner buffet offers specialties in Indian and Indo-Chinese dishes. All food is prepared on the premises. Catering is also available.

Clara's offers 13 different homemade varieties of pasta you can pair with meat, seafood and veggies. Specialties of the house include Rudy Jr.'s Shrimp Special or Clara's Famous Eggplant Parmigiana. 

 The menu includes fajitas, tostadas, quesadillas and tacos. For the tacos, you can pick from steak, roast pork, cowhead, tripe, tongue and chorizo. A wide variety of seafood is also offered - shrimp, octopus, red snapper and oysters. The house specialty is charbroiled chicken.

 Lucky Star Chinese Cuisinese offeres Chinese specialties, including Cashew Chicken, Orange Peel Beef and Sweet and Sour Shrimp.

 Choose from 27 different toppings to customize your pizza, which can be stuffed or have a thin or super-thin crust. This location is carry-out only. Nancy's also offers salads, sandwiches and fresh pasta.

 Pizzas are offered in thin, double-dough, pan and stuffed-crust varieties, and you can choose from 14 toppings. They also offer stuffed shells, baked mostaccioli and ravioli, baked panzarottis, fried chicken, fried shrimp and ribs.

Sandpiper's menu covers a wide array of food, from breakfast skillets, filet mignon, salads, burgers, sandwiches and Italian and Greek dishes.

 Steven's Family Restaurant serves a variety of cuisines including Italian, Greek and American. Its hearty breakfast skillets and omelettes will leave you full long after the lunch hour, and the salads, sandwiches and wraps are available any time of day.
