Munch Madness: South 75th Street and Janes Avenue Region

Vote for your favorite restaurant to go to our four-town competition.

The March Madness bracket has been revealed. That means it's time for Munch Madness!

Last year, we pitted 32 Woodridge restaurants in a March-Madness-style bracket to determine our readers' favorite.  was determined our 2011 winner.

For 2012, we're upping the ante. Darien, Downers Grove, Lemont and Woodridge restaurants will compete against one another for the title of 2012 Munch Madness champion. Each town will determine 16 restaurants to move to the multi-town Munch Madness competition.

We need your help to determine your 16 favorite Woodridge restaurants. Each day, we'll post eight restaurants determined by geography. Your votes will narrow them down to four. We'll post Woodridge's 16 finalists on Friday.

Whoever gets the most votes on TwitterFacebook and the site wins. You have until 11:59 p.m. Friday to vote for a restaurant.

 Woodridge's newest restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner but is best known for its dessert. Bakers Square offers day-long breakfast items, salads, sandwiches and other American cuisine. To learn more about Bakers Square check out our directory listing.

 Capri is relatively new to Woodridge, opening in September 2010. The restaurant serves southern Italian cuisine and offers homemade pastas and seafood specialties. Live music is played Tuesday through Sunday. For more information about Capri D'Amici, check out our directory listing.

Doggie Diner has called Woodridge home since 1986. The diner offers more than 100 menu items, including hot dogs, half-pound cheeseburgers, chicken gyros and Italian beefTo learn more about Doggie Diner check out our directory listing.

 El Burrito Loco offers traditional Mexican fare, including fajitas, tacos, enchiladas and chimichangas.  Papa's offers its special thin crust pizza, pasta, Italian beef, salad or a chicken dinner. There's also Mama's special pizza, which includes cheese, sausage, onion, bacon and barbeque sauce.
