• Man Fled Cops, Hit Squad Car In Woodridge: State's Attorney (patch.com) — Woodridge residents are learning more about a high-speed chase that allegedly began when a local 19-year-old driver refused a traffic stop and sped through neighborhood streets, hitting two vehicles and a police squad car. Authorities say the pursuit, which involved Woodridge and Darien police and ended in nearby bushes, has led to multiple felony charges and more than 30 traffic offenses. The DuPage County State's Attorney emphasized a zero-tolerance stance toward such dangerous driving in and around Woodridge.
