Police Blotter: Weed Possession, Drug Paraphernalia Charges

WEDNESDAY, NOV. 14

Weed Possession

Two Bolingbrook men were charged with possession following a traffic stop at 75th Street and Catalpa. Alec Gwin, 22, of the 900 block of Brompton Circle, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Justin Carter, 21, of the 200 block of North Canyon Drive, was charged with possession of cannabis. 

SUNDAY, NOV. 11

Drug Paraphernalia

After investigating a suspicious vehicle in the 3000 block of Hobson Road at 3:18 a.m., police charged Latia Swopes, 19, of Chicago, with possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Theft Charge

Brian Peterson, 28, of the 3000 block of 76th St. in Woodridge, was charged with theft under $300 following an incident at Clara’s Pasta, 6740 Route 53.
