Woodridge police are investigating shots fired late Tuesday night that injured one man.
The shots were fired at 10:48 p.m. in the 3300 block of 83rd Street, near Route 53. A 42-year-old man was shot in the upper body, according to a news release. He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police believe this is an isolated incident and that the public is not in any danger.
