Village To Discuss Property Taxes Monday
Residents could see a 2.3 percent increase in taxes paid to the library if council approves a tax levy ordinance Monday.

The Village of Woodridge will hold a special meeting 7 a.m. Monday at Village Hall for consideration of a tax levy ordinance.
The proposed ordinance levies property taxes for the Village at the same rate as 2011. It would increase the library rate by 2.3 percent.
A vote was taken at the Village Hall meeting Thursday night, however, it was a tie between trustees, according to Assistant Village Administrator Peggy Halik.
