Woodridge Chamber Names 2012 Officers, Awards
The chamber's annual meeting and awards ceremony took place April 12.

The Woodridge Area Chamber of Commerce elected and installed its 2012-2013 officers at its annual meeting and awards ceremony on April 12.
The following officers were elected:
- Chairwoman, Kandy Sladek, Liberty Tax Service
- Vice Chair Daniel Coil, Waddell & Reed
- Secretary, Ryan Duffek, The Morey Corporation
- Treasurer, Mike Hopkins, Follett Educational Services
- Immediate Past Chair David Pacione, Got Dents?
The following people were elected to serve a three-year term as directors:

Bridgeview Bank was recognized as the Business of the Year. The award recognizes the member business or organization that best advances the mission of the Woodridge Area Chamber of Commerce.
This year’s Chairman’s Award was presented to Lawrence Czepiel, Law of Office of L. J. Czepiel. The award is presented to the director who demonstrates outstanding commitment and dedication to the Woodridge Area Chamber of Commerce.

Daniel Coil, Waddell & Reed, was named Ambassador of the Year in recognition of his dedication and support of the Chamber.
Mike Adams, executive director for the , received the William F. Murphy Excellence Award, which is presented to a Chamber member who demonstrates business stewardship, mentoring and leadership in the community by choosing to do excellent things for others while inspiring others to do the same.
