Woodridge Launches New Website for New Year

Village website offers improved functionality, better access and more.

Woodridge residents have been asking for improved online communication–and the village responded Jan. 4 by launching a new, improved website. The web address, www.vil.woodridge.il.us, may be the same, but the website now offers better access to information, more online services, simplified navigation and more.

Specific website improvements include:

  • “Notify Me,” which allows residents to subscribe to news items, such as calendar postings, and receive a text message or email alerting them to what’s happening in their hometown.
  • RSS feeds to send content directly from the website to subscribers’ inboxes or web browsers.
  • Improved online payment function for water bill accounts, violation tickets and more.
  • “Report a Concern” link by which residents can report a code enforcement issue in their neighborhood. After completing an online form, the user will be notified that the report has been received, as well as updates on their submission.
  • “How Do I?” mega menu that highlights the village’s most common requests.
  • “My Dashboard” tool by which visitors to the site can custom-tailor how they view information on the site.
  • A spotlight feature showing video from the village’s YouTube channel and more.
