Woodridge VFW Memorial Day Parade and Office Closures

The Woodridge Memorial Day Parade will start at Lisle-Woodridge Fire Station #2 at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, May 29.

WOODRIDGE, IL — Woodridge residents can join VFW Post 1578 and other community members to honor war heroes at the village’s annual Memorial Day Silent Parade. The parade will kick off at Lisle-Woodridge Fire Station #2 at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 29.

Police, fire and military vehicles will cruise past onlookers waving American flags and kids hoping to catch some candy. Color guards will spin bright flags and the District 68 Marching Band Drumline will play the cadence for the Woodridge VFW Memorial Day Parade as it heads north on Woodridge Drive and then turns east on Center Drive.

The parade will make its final stop at Memorial Park, where residents are invited to take part in a Memorial Day service to honor fallen members of the military.

Keep in mind that on Monday, May 29th, Village Hall will be closed in observance of Memorial Day.
