• United Way of Greater McHenry County Thrives with Community Support (shawlocal.com) — A longtime Woodstock employer, Charter Casting, is stepping up again by donating more than $3,000 and hundreds of filled backpacks to McHenry County kids heading back to school. Employees also ran a public car wash fundraiser and volunteer projects, all benefiting United Way of Greater McHenry County and local families who need school supplies and support.
