Harassment, Domestic Battery: Yorkville Blotter
Arrests occurred between April 15 and April 21.

All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
April 15
A person had a package stolen from the doorstep of their home. The incident occurred in the 2700 block of Elden Drive.
April 16
Megan Rhodes, 19, of the 1000 block of Canyon Trail Court, was charged with disorderly conduct.
April 18
Ericka D. Walker, 43, of the 1800 block of Country Hills Dr., was charged with domestic battery and criminal trespass to property. The arrest occurred at the Walker’s home.
Police are investigating a harassment by telephone in the 1800 block of Country Hills Dr.
April 19
Police are investigating a retail theft in which around $560 worth of merchandise was taken from a store in the 1600 block of N Bridge St. in March.
Police are investigating a report of retail theft where around $250 worth of merchandise was taken from a store in the 1600 block of N. Bridge St.
Justin A. Selle, 21, of the 1000 block of S. Main Street, was charged with domestic battery. The arrest occurred at Selle’s home.
Christopher R. Hummell, 29, of the 2200 block of Beresford Dr., was picked up on a failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence of drugs. The arrest occurred at Rt. 47 south of Rt. 30.
April 20
A resident reported that a cell phone was stolen out of a backpack in the 700 block of Game Farm Rd.
April 21
Robert K. Simmers, 50, of Jasonville, IN, was charged with retail theft. The arrest occurred in the 400 block of Countryside Parkway.
A 17-year-old juvenile was charged with retail theft in the 900 block of Erica Lane.
