Kendall County Food Pantry Gets New Name, Board
It will now be called the Kendall County Community Food Pantry.
Yorkville, IL — New leadership will be taking over operations at the Kendall County Food Pantry.
According to a release from Former KCFP Acting Board Chair Jeff Young, the KCFP is in the process of accepting a proposal from a group of prominent local community leaders to immediately assume the administration of what will be called the Kendall County Community Food Pantry. The idea was presented after the board began trying to find new members and management, Young said.
In an email interview, Young said the decision was not based on a recent theft of funds from the Pantry.

They will be actively implementing new legal, accounting and accountability systems.”
While no current board members will be on the new board, two key Food Pantry volunteers will be.
