Lawmakers to host consumer protection seminar May 6 in Yorkville
Sen. Jim Oberweis and Rep. Keith Wheeler are teaming with the Yorkville Public Library to host a consumer protection seminar May 6.

SPRINGFIELD – State Sen. Jim Oberweis (R-Sugar Grove) and State Rep. Keith Wheeler (R-Oswego) are teaming with the Yorkville Public Library to host a free seminar May 6 to provide consumers with important information about fraud prevention.
The Identity Theft and Consumer Fraud Prevention Program is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., May 6, at the Yorkville Public Library, 902 Game Farm Road.
Free refreshments will be available.

AARP will provide information about avoiding identity theft, scam artists and fraudulent businesses; checking a credit report; and filing a consumer fraud complaint.
