Man, 35, Charged In Crusade Burger Bar Hit-And-Run Crash: Yorkville PD

The Yorkville man is scheduled to appear in court on several charges, including failure to give notification of damaging unattended vehicle.

YORKVILLE, IL — A 35-year-old Yorkville man was arrested and charged in relation to the hit-and-run crash at Crusade Burger Bar Jan. 3, police said in an update Tuesday.

Daniel D. Corsiatti, of the 200 block of Pleasure Drive, was charged with failure to give information and render aid, failure to give notification of damaging unattended vehicle, improper lane usage, and operating an uninsured vehicle.

At about 4:45 p.m. that Tuesday, Yorkville police were dispatched to the restaurant, at 209 S. Bridge St., after receiving a report of an SUV hitting a car in the parking lot before crashing into the building and taking off, Patch reported.

Two restaurant-goers were evaluated by Bristol Kendall Fire Protection District paramedics for minor injuries. The burger spot closed for the rest of the evening "to ensure safety of the building and patrons."

Corsiatti is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 23.
