'Suspicious Vehicle' Following Bus Was Trying to Find Correct Stop for Family Member: Police
Police determined there was no foul play in the Wednesday incident.

OSWEGO, IL — An incident Wednesday where a supposedly suspicious vehicle was following a school bus has been determined to be a misunderstanding.
Police say they determined that no foul play occurred during Wednesday’s incident, according to a release from Oswego Public Information Officer Cathy Nevara.
Police were able to make contact with the driver of the vehicle and determined the driver was attempting to confirm the correct bus stop for a family member by following the school bus, according to the release.

“Police would like to thank those involved for reporting the incident. Police encourage anyone who observes behavior they believe to be suspicious in nature to report it to the police without delay,” Nevara said in the release. “We would rather have you report an activity you are not sure about, rather than not report it at all,”
