Who's Stealing Hoverboards from Kids in Yorkville?

Police are you hoping you can answer that question.

YORKVILLE, IL — Someone in the Bristol Bay subdivision is stealing hoverboards from kids.

According to the Kendall County Crimestoppers, two hoverboard robberies were reported the evenings of April 17 and 18.

“In both cases, a young white male pulled up in a vehicle and pushed a child off their hoverboard and stole the hoverboard,” Crimestoppers said.

The male was described as tall and thin with thin facial that was possibly a beard or goatee. He was wearing a white shirt, white and red ballcap and white Adidas shoes.

The male was a passenger in a gray vehicle that may be a crossover-type resembling a Hyundai Tucson.

“In one incident, the driver was described as a teenaged black male, and in the second incident, the driver was described as a white female,” Crimestoppers said.
