Yorkville Man Charged With Several Counts Of Meth Possession

The Yorkville Police Department says an investigation is pending on a theft case that took place at 2:20 p.m., July 11, in the 500 block of U.S. 34. Police say that's where construction equipment valued at $1,500 was taken from the property.

Credit card fraud, other charges
Kendall County Sheriff's Office officials reported Christi Lee Smith, 39, of the 900 block of 5th Street, Yorkville, was been arrested and charged with several felony counts July 11. Authorities reported Smith is being charged with several counts including two counts of credit card fraud, one count of identity theft, and one count of residential burglary.

Drug delivery, possession
Kendall County Sheriff's Office officials reported Damarez Duprise McWright, 29, of the 1600 block of North Mango Avenue, Chicago, was arrested and charged shortly before 10 p.m., July 11 for drug delivery or possession. McWright is being charged with four counts of delivery or possession with intent to deliver meth.
