Indiana State Police provides details of recent trip to Colorado taken by two detectives in response to Delphi Murder Investigation tip.

DELPHI, IN – Indiana State Police reports two of their detectives have returned from Colorado after traveling to investigate a recent tip in the Delphi double-murders case. ISP said they've followed up on thousands of tips related to the February 2017 Delphi murders of Abigail Williams and Liberty German, with help from Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, the FBI and many other police agencies. ISP said every tip they've received in regards to this double-homicide case has been and will continue to be investigated, including one in particular about a person arrested in El Paso County, Colorado, identified as Daniel Nations.

According to ISP, Nations was arrested by Colorado law enforcement on Sept. 25, and referred to ISP on Sept. 29 as a potential suspect in the Delphi double-homicide investigation.

This tip led two ISP detectives to travel to El Paso County, Colorado to evaluate this tip on Nations, and ISP reports no information has developed to include or dismiss Nations as a suspect in the Delphi murders.

ISP said they're grateful for the assistance of the El Paso County Sheriff's Office, and wants to remind the public they're still actively seeking tip information related to the Delphi murders, as they believe someone has information for this case.

In addition to the photos and a recently released sketch, authorities also released a brief audio clip captured by Libby German's cell phone of a man saying "down the hill."
