• Visit five American Revolution veterans' graves in museum program (southbendtribune.com) — Bristol residents can join a guided caravan tour on May 17 to visit the graves of five American Revolution veterans buried across Elkhart County, starting at the Elkhart County Historical Museum on W. Vistula Street. Limited to 25 participants, the three-hour, 43-mile drive includes stories from museum staff, a $5 fee, and registration through the Elkhart County Parks website. 
• Becky S. Schmitt (inkfreenews.com) — Family and friends in Bristol are mourning the passing of 67-year-old Becky S. Schmitt of Goshen, who died May 8 at Waterford Crossing Healthcare. She is survived by her daughter Amy Cunningham of Bristol and a large extended family across Elkhart County and beyond. Arrangements are being handled by Yoder-Culp Funeral Home in Goshen.
