• Traffic Alert: Upcoming road closures (in.gov) — Drivers in Carmel should prepare for several short-term closures and lane restrictions this week, including a 2nd Avenue NW shutdown today for a Neighborhood Pop-up and Sophia Square anniversary event. In addition, 136th Street between Towne and Ditch roads will close Wednesday and Thursday for storm pipe work, so plan alternate routes to avoid delays. 
• County accepts proposals for Hazel Dell Parkway bridge replacement (wishtv.com) — Carmel drivers face a long closure on Hazel Dell Parkway as Hamilton County demolishes the flood-damaged bridge near 106th Street and prepares for a multi-year replacement project. Officials estimate a roughly $14 million rebuild, backed partly by federal funds, while a new Long Term Recovery Group coordinates help for hundreds of flood-affected county homeowners.
