• Vault on Main opens in Evansville after five years of waiting (tristatehomepage.com) — Downtown Evansville just gained a major new housing option with the grand opening of Vault on Main, a $60 million apartment complex built where the Old National Bank building once stood. With 161 modern units and amenities like a heated saltwater pool and work spaces, city leaders say it will bring more residents, energy, and business to Main Street while easing the local housing crunch.
   

• Memorial football proved it has championship resolve in victory over Reitz (courierpress.com) — Memorial High School's football team stayed unbeaten in Evansville with a gritty 30-27 win over rival Reitz at Enlow Field, clinching at least a share of the SIAC title. In a back-and-forth game, the Tigers leaned on a punishing late rushing attack, key defensive stops, and standout performances from Geno Aimone, Luke Brown, and Grayson Carter to prove their championship toughness.
   

• Gaddis to Return to Evansville as Grand Marshal (wnin.org) — Evansville's iconic West Side Nut Club Fall Festival Parade will feature hometown Emmy and Grammy winner Alisha Gaddis as Grand Marshal this year. The Reitz High School graduate and former Fall Festival Queen candidate will lead the Main Parade down West Franklin Street on Saturday, October 10. Her recent induction into the EVSC Hall of Fame underscores her strong local roots and achievements.
