Tomato Talk & Tasty Treats: A Flavorful Afternoon at Heritage Pointe

Tomato Talk & Tasty Treats: A Flavorful Afternoon at Heritage Pointe of Huntington

It was the perfect recipe for a fun and educational event for residents of Heritage Pointe of Huntington. The senior living community offers assisted living, memory care, rehab, and skilled nursing.

Last week, Heritage Pointe of Huntington had a special seasonal program hosted by the senior living community’s dining partner, Morrison Living. Heritage Pointe’s dietitian, Emily Jones, led a presentation with Chef David from Heritage Pointe of Ft. Wayne. Part demo, part nutritional tips, and (the best) part, tasting, the presentation featured creative, easy, and tasty ways to use tomatoes.

Chef David made tomato flatbread pizzas, which he shared with the attendees. The room was filled with laughter, learning, and lots of happy tastebuds.
