Former Colt Reggie Wayne To Be Inducted Into Team's Ring Of Honor

Former Indianapolis Colt receiver Reggie Wayne will be inducted into the team's Ring of Honor: More

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts are celebrating Reggie Wayne Tuesday after announcing the team's former receiver Reggie Wayne will become the 15th member of the Indianapolis Colts’ Ring of Honor next season. While the 2018 NFL schedule has not yet been released, the team said Tuesday that the ceremony will be in Indianapolis at Lucas Oil Stadium during the upcoming season.

Wayne will join former teammates Marvin Harrison, Edgerrin James, Peyton Manning and Jeff Saturday in earning the team's honor. Manning was inducted during the 2017 season.

The Colts said in a report that Wayne will also join the man who drafted him in 2001, former executive Bill Polian, and the coach who helped him win a Super Bowl, Tony Dungy.

Wayne's 14 seasons (2001-2014) with the Colts is the second-longest among all Colts, the team said in a report Tuesday. Wayne was a six-time Pro Bowl selection and was a First Team Associated Press NFL All-Pro in 2010, played in a franchise-record 211 games, had 1,070 receptions, 14,345 yards and 82 touchdown catches.

The Colts say Wayne will become the team's 15th honoree in the Ring of Honor.
