West Lafayette voters, including Purdue students, also have multiple options, and all residents are urged to confirm locations, hours, and registration status before heading out.

The Farm at Prophetstown hosting family-friendly fall events all month long (wlfi.com) — Families in Greater Lafayette can enjoy a full month of free-with-admission fall activities at The Farm at Prophetstown in nearby West Lafayette, including this Saturday's Fall Funfest, a centennial celebration on October 17, and Halloween Trick or Treating with the Animals on October 31. Organizers highlight colorful harvest scenery, 1920s farm life, and hands-on crafts for all ages.

Lafayette woman arrested for alleged battery (purdueexponent.org) — A 44-year-old Lafayette woman was arrested after police say surveillance video and witness accounts showed her attempting to force a child into a vehicle and struggling with a man during a dispute on 900 East. Prosecutors have filed multiple felony and misdemeanor domestic battery charges involving a child under 14, and she remains held on a $2,500 cash bond.

Indiana senator accused of 2 recent Walmart shoplifting incidents, source says (indystar.com) — A state senator representing Tippecanoe County is under investigation after a reported shoplifting incident at Lafayette's east-side Walmart and another at a Monticello store, prompting a request for a special prosecutor in Lafayette. He acknowledges recent troubling cognitive changes, is seeking medical evaluation, and says he is stepping back from active campaigning while potential charges are reviewed.
