• Linton man faces felony charges after alleged domestic assault (greenestreets.com) — A Linton gas station employee called 911 after an injured woman sought help, leading deputies to investigate an alleged violent domestic assault linked to a local man. The woman reported strangulation, threats with a knife, and confinement at a nearby residence, and the suspect now faces multiple felony charges while held in Greene County Jail. 
• Local schools join forces to battle childhood cancer (mywabashvalley.com) — Linton is joining other Wabash Valley schools in a Riley Children's Hospital campaign that uses football season to raise money and awareness for kids battling cancer. Through T-shirt sales, quick "Miracle Minute" collections, and other activities, local students and fans are helping push toward a $100,000 fundraising goal in Patrick Barrett's memory.
