Indiana American Water expands support after severe flooding (thestarpress.com) — Noblesville is receiving targeted flood recovery help as Indiana American Water and its charitable foundation commit over $70,000 statewide, including $5,000 to the Hamilton County Community Foundation in Noblesville. That grant will support local programs aiding Hamilton County residents after recent severe storms and flooding. Additional funds and on-the-ground assistance are backing recovery in Muncie, Richmond, Cambridge City, and Northwest Indiana.

Docs: Physical therapist attempted to assault co-worker while giving her massage (fox59.com) — A Noblesville resident is being held without bond in Delaware County after prosecutors filed preliminary attempted rape and sexual battery charges tied to an alleged incident at a physical therapy clinic. Court documents describe an encounter that began as a massage for a co-worker's pain and ended with the woman seeking hospital care and police involvement. Investigators say the treatment room appeared freshly cleaned when officers arrived.

3. Math Momentum jump-starts incoming Indiana students' academic journeys (purdue.edu) — A Noblesville native starting at Purdue says a new five-week Math Momentum program significantly boosted her confidence and math skills before fall classes. The fully funded summer experience lets Indiana students live on campus, earn seven credits, and practice study strategies in a lower-pressure setting. Organizers hope it improves retention and graduation by strengthening math foundations and campus connections.

SullivanMunce hosting abstract art exhibit starting Sept. 11 (youarecurrent.com) — Noblesville artists will be among those showcased in a new abstract art exhibit opening Sept. 11 at the SullivanMunce Cultural Center in Zionsville. The juried show features 40 works by 19 Indiana artists, celebrating bold and subtle approaches to abstraction through color, movement, texture, and form, and runs through Oct. 31.
