• New food locker brings better access to South Lake County residents (chicagotribune.com) — Residents in and around South Haven can now use a refrigerated food locker operated by the Food Bank of Northwest Indiana, one of several sites including a new unit in South Lake County. The program lets approved clients order online, then pick up refrigerated and frozen groceries securely within 21 hours, helping people with tight work schedules or limited transportation access healthy food with more dignity.
