Memorial Opera House Foundation Announces "Broadway Ball: A Roaring Twenties SoirĆ©e" Annual fundraising gala to celebrate the Golden Age of Broadway (greatnews.life) ā€” Valparaiso residents are invited to the Memorial Opera House Foundationā€™s ā€œBroadway Ball: A Roaring Twenties SoirĆ©eā€ on Saturday, August 29, 2026, starting with dinner at Parea and continuing at the Opera House. The gala supports local theater programming and preservation through tickets, auctions, and sponsorships, and includes Jazz Age-inspired fashion, desserts, a silent auction, and a live preview of the 2027 Mainstage season.

Multiple Projects to Impact S.R. 2 between Valparaiso and Westville (indiana105.com) ā€” Drivers on State Road 2 between Valparaiso and Westville face major disruptions this month, including a full closure near Old State Road 2 starting August 17.
