• This Mama Opossum Sums Up How All Moms Feel Now and Then (wearekentucky.net) — A Valparaiso-based wildlife rescue, Humane Indiana Wildlife, is caring for an injured mama opossum and her three youngsters after she was hurt protecting them. Staff are asking for small donations to cover food, medical care, and rehab so the family can heal together and eventually be released back into the wild, while also supporting many other rescued animals.
