The Valparaiso-based nonprofit partnered with local farmers, 4-H youth, and food pantries to get high-quality protein to households facing food insecurity, extending support well beyond its own programs. 
• Women's Fund of Porter County Invests $65,000 in Programs Strengthening Women and Families (wimsradio.com) — In Valparaiso, the Women's Fund of Porter County is awarding $65,000 to three programs that support local women and children, pushing its total grants past $1 million. The funding will expand fresh-food access for mothers, strengthen early childhood development services, and help women and families overcome housing-related utility barriers across Porter County.
