• Warsaw man killed in motorcycle accident on SR 15S - 107.3 WRSW Classic Hits (1073wrsw.com) — A Warsaw motorcyclist was killed early Friday in a head-on crash on State Road 15 just south of town, with Winona Lake Police among the agencies responding. Deputies say a southbound Buick crossed the center line and struck the northbound motorcycle, killing 64-year-old Randy Schmucker at the scene. The investigation by the county’s FACT Team is still ongoing. 
• Snow: Governor Ceremonially Signs New Law To Expand Property Tax Relief For Hoosier Veterans (timesuniononline.com) — Winona Lake’s own State Rep. Craig Snow helped pass a new Indiana law that will wipe out property taxes on primary homes for many totally disabled veterans starting with 2026 assessments. The measure also converts several existing deductions into direct credits and adds new credits for partially disabled and wartime veterans, with an estimated $46.2 million in statewide relief by 2027.
