• Arnolds Park City Council Awards Pump House Demo Bid; Talks Park Study & Approves Library Staffing Proposal (exploreokoboji.com) — Arnolds Park's city council has approved a nearly $204,000 contract to demolish the old pump house on Pillsbury Point and move forward with shoreline work. Council members also agreed to seek a citywide parking study and backed added staffing for the larger library in the new civic center, anticipating heavier use from local residents. 
• Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire/Rescue Responds to Three Back-to-Back Calls (northwestiowanow.com) — Emergency crews from Arnolds Park-Okoboji Fire/Rescue handled three calls in under two hours Monday, including a water rescue at Sawmill Park and a gas leak on Shady Oaks Drive. They also assisted Milford Fire with a vehicle crash near the landfill east of Arnolds Park, where one person was taken to the hospital before crews returned to the station.
