• Coralville sues University of Iowa Health Care, alleging breach of contract (kcrg.com) — Coralville is taking the University of Iowa's Board of Regents to court, claiming a promised second University of Iowa Health Care medical office at Iowa River Landing was never built despite the city investing over $11 million in parking infrastructure. The city seeks damages for alleged breach of contract, while university leaders deny any obligation to construct the facility and say they tried for years to resolve the dispute.
   

• Housing Trust Fund of Johnson County announces round of funding for housing rehab and development (1630kcjj.com) — Coralville residents and developers can now seek a share of up to $3 million in new Johnson County Housing Trust Fund money for building or rehabbing affordable homes. The countywide program, supported in part by Coralville, targets households earning below 80% of area median income, with applications due November 2 and training resources available online.
