Police say the incident began with a shooting near Cross Avenue Park and ended with an arrest after an alleged break-in, with a new trial date still pending.
   

5. Harvest Food Box Program launched in Iowa (farm-news.com) — Rural veterans receiving care through the Iowa City VA Medical Center can now qualify for weekly boxes of fresh, Iowa-grown food through the new Honor Harvest program. The seven-week pilot, run with the Iowa City VA Health Care System and Field to Family, will serve 40 veterans with diet-related conditions while supporting local farmers.
