• Over 12,000 in central Iowa without power amid Tuesday night storms (weareiowa.com) — Windsor Heights saw 961 power outages during Tuesday night's severe thunderstorms, part of more than 16,000 customers affected across the Des Moines metro. By 8:30 p.m., outages had dropped to about 12,245, but local residents were still dealing with storm impacts and service restoration efforts.
