• Day One of the Kansas Crop Tour- Freeze and Drought Damage Obvious in Northwestern Kansas (oklahomafarmreport.com) — Crop scouts wrapped up day one of the Kansas Wheat Crop Tour with a report session in Colby, where they logged 187 field stops and found an average yield of 38.3 bushels per acre. Traveling from Manhattan to Colby, they saw healthy wheat in the east but clear freeze and drought damage in northwestern Kansas, with yields ranging from 21 to 50 bushels per acre.
