• Ephraim McDowell Health joins Golisano Children's at UK Affiliate Network, increasing access to specialized pediatric care (uky.edu) — Families in Danville will soon have stronger access to specialized neonatal and pediatric care thanks to Ephraim McDowell Health joining the Golisano Children’s at UK Affiliate Network. The partnership links local providers with Lexington specialists for training, real-time consultations, and NICU support at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, helping more children receive advanced care close to home. 
• Danville nonprofit uses horses to help Kentucky kids learn to read (fox56news.com) — Second graders at Danville’s Edna L. Toliver Intermediate School are boosting their reading skills through a six-week, horse-themed literacy program with Hooves of Hope Equestrian Center. Students meet Libby the miniature horse in class, complete daily reading activities, then visit the Danville farm for hands-on experiences, from obstacle courses to a celebratory pony parade with books and certificates.
