• EKPC's New Gas Plant Shows 'Strong Investment' in Rural Kentucky Community (electric.coop) — A $500 million East Kentucky Power Cooperative natural gas plant, called Liberty Station, is coming to Casey County and the town of Liberty, promising new jobs and long-term economic benefits. The 214-megawatt facility is expected online by 2028, supporting 95,000 homes and strengthening power reliability for local co-op members across the region.
