Hurricane Harvey Louisiana: School Reopenings Parish By Parish (UPDATE)
Harvey has left streets flooded, residents displaced, schools closed and trees downed.

MANSFIELD, LA — Harvey-related flooding forced many Louisiana school districts to shut down for several days across the southwestern and central parts of the state. Most school districts are reopening their doors.
The following schools either remain closed or already reopened. This list will be updated as decisions are made about Friday and beyond. DeSoto Parish School System: The school system will open Friday. All normal activities will fully resume, including effective instruction in the classroom. All Friday night football games will be played.

Vernon Parish School Board: All schools and school board facilities closed Thursday, no word yet on Friday.
Beauregard Parish School Board: All five-day Beauregard Parish Schools will return to classes Friday except East Beauregard Elementary and East Beauregard High School. Four-day schools will resume normal schedules Tuesday.

Cameron Parish School Board: All schools and the central office will be closed through Friday.
Rapides Parish School Board: All schools will open and resume normal activity Friday.
Natchitoches Parish School Board: All schools and central office are closed through Friday.
Red River Parish Public Schools: All schools will be closed on Friday. Schools will reopen on Tuesday.
Vermilion Parish School District: All schools will resume classes Friday, along with the central office.
Calcasieu Parish School Board: Starks High School was closed Thursday and Friday, due to water being released from Toledo Bend at a rapid rate. All other schools and facilities in the parish opened on Thursday. All schools and offices will be closed on Monday for Labor Day.
Jefferson Davis Parish Schools: Schools opened Thursday, but all Louisiana High School Athletic Association events were canceled this week. They will resume on Monday.
Caddo Parish Public Schools: All schools and district offices will remain open and scheduled events will proceed as planned.
Iberia Parish School Board: All schools reopened Thursday.
Bossier Parish School Board: All schools were open Thursday.
Acadia Parish School Board: All schools reopened Thursday.
Lafayette Parish School Board: All schools reopened Thursday.
Evangeline Parish School Board: All schools reopened Thursday.
Webster Parish School Board: Schools were open Thursday.
St. Landry Parish School Board: All schools reopened Thursday.
St. Martin Parish School Board: All schools and offices reopened Thursday.
St. Mary Parish School Board: All schools reopened Thursday.
