Carl Carstens has helmed the family business, Schnack’s Fine Jewelry, since 1953, helping generations celebrate life’s milestones. But, now it's time for retirement, and with that, a celebration!

Schnack’s Fine Jewelry is launching a major retirement sale on April 20, inviting everyone to take advantage of rare discounts as Carl Carstens retires after decades of leadership.

"This is more than just a sale," said Bill Carstens, Carl's son. "The merchandise is specially priced to honor my father's legacy. We've never done anything quite like this before."

Shoppers can save 40-60% on jewelry, with prices from under $100 to over $100,000, making it a unique opportunity for both new and returning customers.

Carl and Bill Carstens attribute the store’s success to making customers feel at home. “It’s about finding the best value for our customers and treating them fairly,” Carl Carstens said.

As a father-son team, Bill Carstens described their relationship as special. “I can tap into his past experiences when a question arises, so I don’t make a completely wrong decision,” he said.

“Just a little wrong,” Carl Carstens said without skipping a beat.

Gentle ribbing aside, Bill Carstens said successfully owning a family-run business isn’t something they take for granted. "I’ve seen family businesses struggle to succeed, so we feel very fortunate," Bill Carstens said. "We’ve been lucky."
