It was one of 11 weak tornadoes across southeast Louisiana and coastal Mississippi, with most causing tree damage and minor structural impacts but no fatalities.
• NWS now says 14 tornadoes formed during Arthur (wgno.com) — Avondale was one of the hardest-hit spots in the June 18–19 tornado outbreak tied to Tropical Storm Arthur, where an EF1 tornado overturned a mobile home, injured two people, and slammed the structure into a nearby house. The National Weather Service now counts 14 tornadoes across southeast Louisiana and coastal Mississippi, but fortunately no fatalities and only Avondale’s injuries reported.
