  1. Southern University received a $10K donation from Silk and Hall of Famer Carl Lewis. The donation is going to be used for the HBCU track and field program that supports student-athletes. (BRProud.com)
  2. A former BRPD officer was accused of stealing drugs and smashing evidence. He was indicted for malfeasance in office, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, perjury, and filing false public records. The judge ordered that he remain in jail without bond. (WBRZ)
