Here are the top 3 stories in Baton Rouge today:

  1. Three people were injured in a shooting that was reported at about 9:00 p.m. this past Sunday. When officers arrived at the scene at 7776 Scenic Highway, they found three people with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. Police are still investigating the shooting. (BRProud.com)
  2. Gas prices are continuing to increase in Baton Rouge to an average of $3.27. The national gas average is $3.52. Experts believe gas prices may continue to rise to the upper threes or four dollars if Russia does invade Ukraine. (WAFB)
  3. No one was injured in a house fire that happened just before 4 a.m. on Monday. Crews responded to the fire in the 5000 block of S. Sherwood St. and put out of the fire in less than 10 minutes. The house sustained around $20,000 in damages. (BRProud.com)
