- 40,000 dosage units of heroin were seized in West Baton Rouge. A 24-year-old man from New Mexico is in custody and was booked with charges of improper lane usage, illegal window tint and possession of schedule I in excess of 400 grams. (KATC Lafayette News)
- The EBRSO's Crime Victims Reparations Program is helping families amid a record-breaking deadly year. The program helps with expenses for things such as therapy costs, medical bills, temporary housing, and lost wages. (WAFB)
