- According to the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office, a suspect wanted for the February murder of a man on Reiger Road is now in custody. On Feb. 12, 21-year-old James Douglas got into an argument with a man at a motel. Police say the victim intervened to prevent the argument from escalating when the suspect turned his attention to the victim, who was ultimately shot several times. The suspect was booked in West Baton Rouge this week. (BRProud.com)
- A Baton Rouge teenager was indicted on Thursday on rape and armed robbery count. Jayden Christopher Foster, 18, is accused of robbing and sexually assaulting two of his victims after answering their online advertisements for sex last summer. (The Advocate)
