Baton Rouge Metro Council To Hold Public Hearing On Millage Rates On October 28
The estimated amount of tax revenues to be collected in the next tax year from the increased millage.

The Metropolitan Council of the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge hereby gives notice pursuant to Article 7, Section 23(C) of the Louisiana Constitution and R.S. 47:1705(B) that a public hearing of the Metropolitan Council of the Parish of East Baton Rouge and City of Baton Rouge will be held in the Metropolitan Council Chambers on the third floor of City Hall, located at 222 Saint Louis Street, Metropolitan Council Chambers, Baton Rouge, LA at 4 p.m.

Wednesday, October 28, 2020, to consider levying additional or increased millage rates without further voter approval or adopting the adjusted millage rates after reassessment and rolling forward to millage rates not to exceed the prior year’s maximum.
The estimated amount of tax revenues to be collected in the next tax year from the increased millage, and the estimated amount of increase in taxes attributable to the millage increase for each taxing district is as follows:
