  1. One person was killed during a shooting on Paige Street on Wednesday. Officers with the Baton Rouge Police Department responded to reports of shots fired at the 5100 block of Paige Street. The victim has not been identified by the department. (The Advocate)
  2. The Baton Rouge Soul Food Festival is set to return to the area in May. This year will be the fifth time the event has graced the Baton Rouge Riverfront Plaza where families can enjoy the free event. The event will include a soul food cooking contest where contestants will battle for prizes. (BRProud.com)
  3. The Baton Rouge Police Department is trying to identify a man who robbed a Dollar General Store on Florida Boulevard. The incident occurred on Feb. 11 with no injuries being reported.
