Here are the top three stories today in Baton Rouge:
- A Baton Rouge church offered a free Christmas gift wrapping event, 'Presence with Presents.' Lighthouse Christian Fellowship Church provided wrapping paper, tape, bows, boxes and ribbons for guests to use. They also provided light refreshments and Christmas music. (WAFB)
- The community helped buy Christmas presents for hundreds of children in East Baton Rouge. Every child on the list for the Elf Tree Program will receive a gift. Local organizations have raised around $19K to fulfill the children's Christmas wishes. (WBRZ)
- WBR Museum will open a new exhibit on Jan. 8, titled 'Life in the 1940s in West Baton Rouge.' It will feature artifacts and photos from the WBR Historical Association's collection. It will be on display through Mar. 20, 2022. (thewestsidejournal.com)

- Louisiana Public Broadcasting will be hosting "An Evening at the Governor's Mansion: A Christmas Celebration" on Dec. 23 at 7 p.m. on LPB-HD. This year, musical guests include the Preservation Hall All-Stars with Gregg Stafford. (Facebook)
- The Louisiana Children's Museum is hosting a Pajama Party today where children can cuddle up for some winter tales during storytime, enjoy cozy treats, and march in the Pajama Parade. The parade starts at 11:30 a.m. right after storytime. (Instagram)
