Here are the top three stories today in Baton Rouge:

  1. Baton Rouge self-storage facilities thrived amid the pandemic’s disruption. There was an increase in home buying, selling, renovating and organizing. Some facilities, like Red Stick Self Storage, saw a 10% increase in occupancy within the last year. (Greater Baton Rouge Business Report)
  2. The BR Law Enforcement & Criminal Justice Foundation announced the completion of camera installments. This was the first phase of the East Baton Rouge Camera Initiative. (WBRZ)
  3. A Baton Rouge man gave adaptive bikes to children with special needs. Andrew McLindon has been gifting these bikes for 14 years through the McLindon Family Foundation. The bikes help children gain physical and emotional strength. (WJTV)
