- A Baton Rouge 5th grader battling cancer was gifted a trip to Walt Disney World. The Louisiana State Police helped to pull off the surprise and make the gift memorable for Avery Jobe. (WGNO New Orleans)
- BRFD is searching for the person who allegedly live-streamed an apartment fire on Instagram. Firefighters arrived at the Melrose Apartments and put out a clothes fire so damage didn't spread further. There were no injuries due to the fire. (BRProud.com)
- A Baton Rouge non-profit helped dozens of homeowners fix their roofs. Rebuilding Together Baton Rouge, along with Exxon Mobil and Premier South Roofing company, repaired 35 roofs across the parish. It was made possible by a grant given to Rebuilding Together by Exxon. (WBRZ)

- Southern University and A&M College - Baton Rouge, LA achieved an R2 designation in the Carnegie Classification. The Classification is a framework for ranking universities based on their research activity, and the most coveted designations are "R1" and "R2."
